crane denning water pump

Our co. just picked up one of these and the mechanic can't make is pump water.

Anyone got any info on them?

1st is the suction flooded they usually aren't self priming?

if not flooded can you fill suction pipe and see if it will hold water (is check valve/ foot valve holding).

2nd is the rotation correct?

Flooded and then some. they drove the rig into the water and submerged the pump..

I'm going outonsite tomorrow to take a look to see what the monkeys..er.. mechanics have got..

I'll hit that website first and see if I can plug int he sn and get some paperwork on it..
