Crane Oops

Here are some pics I took yesterday and today. This crane was working very near our office, and fell into the building while trying to manuever some roof trusses in place. No one was hurt, but this proved to be an expensive mishap!

I dunno much about cranes, but it seems like the second cranes on the job shoulda been the first cranes on the job.

Wind a factor maybe?? just a guess...

I looked at your album. I see the jib broke off the main boom and the hydraulic extension cylinders are snapped too. I'd say the operating engineer is treminated. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Catching up on some past posts, remembered coming across this site a while back. 3 years of photo documented crane mishaps, some pretty wild images, and a few gruesome ones, but they warn you first, it's your choice.
