Crazy Tractor Story, I Bought It Back..

Sitting for 10 years, I would plan on full fluid changes, and a new battery might be needed.

Yup.. I lost 3 grand when I sold it.. it would probably take a while for him to get maybe $11000 for i as it sits on rusty rims.. I don’t need it but My cousin in Massachusetts has been looking for this size tractor for years.. Can’t afford new so this might be the ticket for him..

Sounds like a good deal for both. Dealing with selling stuff is not fun and seeing he's in ill health it's even worse. Hopefully it all goes well for both of you. Sad what 10 short years can do to your health.

I’ve been watching for a TLB. If your cousin doesn’t come through, I’m interested.

I will let you know, I have no use for it but the history is worth $10,000 to me, I'll find someone who will finally use it that's for sure.. I am going to buy new rims and tires for it, they have a little dry rot and no doubt they will be trouble right off the bat. A local dealer has the four of them on rims loaded with rim guard for $750 on sale so I'm going to do that.. If I get $11,000 back out of it that will pay for the tires and me putting fuel in my buddies flatbed. I'm not looking to make money, the guy needs to dump it and I knew I wouldn't lose anything either way and he hit me when I was bored.. LOL

I tried to text him but he is in Co at camp hunting elk, probably won't be able to afford it, cost about 6 grand for the ten days..

By the way, it has a Woods "groundbreaker" backhoe, they hadn't come out with the JD 260 yet, I never used a 260 but the Woods is a nice unit.. It has the 6 and 12 inch buckets..
