i would use it to get the mail to keep the fluids flowing and in use condition to avoid all the problems associated with it siting dormant why buy something under powered when you have this and the fel lift capacity could be nice when you need it

OP here.

I'd forgotten about this thread (2005). There are some very good late followup posts that I hadn't seen until today. Turns out, every year since then it has come in handy several times a year, mostly for clearing a 3/4 mile driveway after storms go thru. Unplugging culverts, removing logs packed under the bridge, large fallen trees on the drive. Glad I didn't sell it. And yeah, use it to get the mail once in awhile!

If this machine goes up for sale I'm very interested I'm looking 480E 4x4 or 480F 4x4 or a Deere 210C 4x4 I might take a 580E 4x4 or 580super E 4x4 just like to update from my old deere 300B I started at the utility company 22yrs ago running 480E best little machine I've ever run I was raised on case backhoes and we farm with Deere
