Paint is pretty much done. I have a few touch up areas to take care of, but nothing significant. We still have to get the 2 water tanks in place and filled up, the feeder built and installed, and organize the tack room. Tomorrow is the big day. Due to the weather and all the storms we have in the forecast, I'm taking the day off and going to get them. Karen is off work all next week with finals at school, so she will be here, along with our future daughter in law, who is helping out.

Looking good...
I know it's nice to come home and see the horses waiting for you... its the first thing I do when I visit my brother's place and they know it... usually have a couple of apples or carrots and they remember.

Looks like a real Texas ranch!
Are these horses new or do you have a history with them?
Looks very nice. The cedar logs on the front are a nice touch. Is there any reason that you didn't lay down lime stone (crusher run, fines, etc.) in the overhangs and stall areas? I did for mine and it makes clean-up easier (IMO). We got horses because she wanted them, now I've found them to be an enjoyable part of the chores.
