Kubota M5700 4 WD w/ FEL, Kioti CK4010SE HST, 21' Flatbed Gooseneck Trlr.
I am looking at buying a 5800 and a creeper gear option (dealer installed)is listed. This makes the 8X8 a 12X12. My current tractor has a 12X12 tranny and comes in handy tilling, etc. that requires slow speed. Does anyone out there have experience with this option? About what should it cost? Can you save any by installing yourself or too complicated. Am not a tractor mechanic, but posess above average mechanical skills. Thanks in advance for your comments and worthy advice.

Jeezzzz - before all you Kubota experts beat me up. I made a TYPO. It's a M 5700 not a 5800

Nobody is beating you up. There are so many new models of tractors, that it is hard to keep up with them all. Since you put the M in front of the model in one post, I finally figured out what model I thought you were asking about. It is a very nice tractor. I bought the M6800 because it was essentially the same frame size with slightly larger tires and a really nice 4 cylinder engine that is a more recent design and has longer oil change intervals and a lot of power in a small package. The total difference in cost was $1500.

Welcome to the board. Lot of good folks here.
