Bobcat CT335
Has anyone purchased filter kits (oil, fuel, air)
from Crossfilters.com? They offer kits for tractors,
skid steers and excavators.I'm considering ordering a
kit for my Bobcat CT335. They sell direct or through
Amazon.com.

Beware! A "genuine" Bobcat filter may be a counterfeit. This video (start at 2 min in) explains the issue. At least they gave me my money back.

I always use OEM,not worth the risk to save a couple bucks on a yearly service.

Always OEM here as well. You never know what is inside a filter unless you cut it open. Could be an empty can...lol

Why when I bought my fuel polishing units for the tractors, I bought the filter bases from Amazon for 20 or so bucks each (Chineseum) but I purchased genuine Racor filter elements 30 bucks each and used them because I know Parker Raco is quality stuff and the bases are basically generic so why buy a Parker Raco base for a hundred bucks or more when I can buy the Chineseum copy that is exactly the same for a lot less. Far as filters, neither of my 2 tractors ever see anything but OEM.

I dont use OEM filters in anything. I just use quality (typically us built) filters like fleet guard, baldwin, Donaldson, luber finder, champion, napa/six and some fram.

I dont buy off brand filters and I definitely wouldnt buy OEM filters off ebay/amazon. They are even knocking off the parts label for some manufacturers.

Crossfilters continue to sell these "genuine" Bobcat fuel filters even though Bobcat doesn't even offer that part number any more. My dealer would not be able to get that part number. Instead of a 2 micron filter media these counterfeit filters have a 10+ micron media in them.

Why not just add a fuel polishing unit like I did to both my Kubota's. Certainly, I bought the cheaper Chineseum filter base bit I exchanged the Chinese filter for a Genuine Racor and you can purchase the (made in USA) Racor filters down to a 2 micron pass and all the Racor filters have their patented 'Aqua Block' technology that removes any water in the diesel fuel and water destroys a common rail T4 engine. Install a Racor and use the cheap filters because the Racor is removing the water.
