yes, sorry it has taken so long to get back to the posting. I looked at the wiring but found nothing. While I was servicing the tractor after the first fifty hours I found the little arm that actuates the button underneath to be bent so that it could not make contact with the switch. Bent it back into place and haven't had a problem since. It is haying season up here in Maine now and we finally got the weather for it and the old TC 40 has been doing great. 96 degrees today and the tractor had no problems with the heat at all. What a machine...
