cruise control on bx23

I've pretty much decided to get a rear mounted snow blower for my bx23. I saw a few threads that said how nice cruise control is with a rear blower.
Can a cruise control be added to a BX23?

Is the cruise control you added a Kubota product? I was trying to think of how the cruise control would work on a tractor. In a car its controlled by the revolutions of the drive shaft and adjusts the throttle accordingly, but on a HST tractor the throttle doesn't change. It must be hooked into the hydraulic system or counts the rear axle revolutions.

The cruise control on my B3030 simply controls the HST pedal. Push the cruise control and the HST pedal is pushed down and the cruise control stops it from returning to the neutral position.

It's probably a retrofit by Kubota. Four or five years after they introduced the BX2200 (which had no cruise control), Kubota, as an afterthought, introduced a long mechanical set oflevers going from the empty handle slot all the way to the treadle as a cruise control. I had one installed on my BX2200. Unlike a regualr cruise control that disengages when you touch the pedal, you must physically disengage the lever on this one. If I hit an unseen obstacle, the tractor keeps going, regardless of whether I put my foot on the treadle, or engage the brake. This is unnerving as I have to think, "Why is the tractor not stopping? Oh, Yea, I have to disengage the cruise control lever." For this reason, I don't use the CC as much as I otherwise would.
