Jinman.. these new raised platform CNH's remind me o fthe rowcrop old ford thousand seies.. like the 5000's... they had the paltform.. etc.. and lots of linkages!!
I also much prefer stradleling a tranny. I mowed 10ac monday afternoon with my feet propped up on the tanny of my 7610-s listening to some headphones while I mowed the weeds down for a couple hours.

I figured out how much trouble it was going to be about half-way through the job. By that time it was too far to turn back and I had to continue. The final straw was having to take off a couple of the bolts that attach the loader uprights. The NH dealer was very helpful and even offered to loan me some tools, but all I asked of them was to re-weld (properly) the plate once I had it removed. They did a great job and I learned my lesson...![]()
