Hey folks I am in haying season and my standard JD 4520 cruise control won't kick in. Click the button and nada. Gave the dealer a call but of course it was late Friday so no solutions yet. I put my voltmeter to the wires behind the switch and no power is noted. So do any of you know which fuse they run these through? I haven't noticed anything else not working. I don't have a radio. Of course the manual doesn't show the cruise control on the fuse page...I can't remember but I think it is an added on option. I don't see any addtional fuses not noted on the manual on the board. Nothing lights up on the dash either. So any solutions?

Did you measure the voltage from ground to each contact? Or did you read across the switch contacts? I would guess you need to measure from ground to the contacts to get a proper reading.

I would also pump the reverse and brake pedals a few times to make sure you don't have a sticky pedal switch too.

Well still no answers. Anyone here with a 4520 know which fuse they used?

I think I used the voltmeter correctly. The main point is it doesn't work at all. And the dealership seems a bit slow at finding a solution. I just thought maybe somebody had run into a similar issue.
