At 161 hours on this 2023 unit and today while moving a load of marble I felt a small Kerrr...klunk when going over a small bump and when shifting from forward to reverse on the HST.
At first I thought it was the new ballast on my 3pt hitch shifting left-right, but a hand on the ballast soon confirmed that was not it.
When I was finished work I parked it, pulled out the floor jack and checked the FEL frame bolts, axle bolts and frame bolts.
Sure enough some were loose:
1) the two 17mm bolts holding the front axle to the frame right in front of the oil pan.
2) left hand side FEL frame bolts.
3) right hand side frame bolts behind the rear tire.
I pull both rear tires and check all of the rear frame bolts and the LH side was good. Same with the RH FEL frame bolts.
???Must have been different people or impact guns putting things together.
A little locktite and a torque wrench quieted things down.
Just a heads up if you sense a Kerr...Klunk on a bump or when shifting from forward to reverse with a load on the FEL.
