Price Check CT 440 Cab Pricing

Hi guys,

I need (want) a CT 440 with cab. I was quotd a price on $29,000 cdn for tractor with Cab and FEL. This beats the $35,500 that a local dealer quoted for the DK40 SE Kioti.

I plan to blow snow, grade my kilometer driveway to cottage with box blade, garden work with plow and tiller and some post hole digging.

What is your experience with the CT440?

Like everyone else on TBN I would like to see some pictures of your BobCat in action.

Dave.. What is CDN? I have nothing to say negative about mine. It does everything I thought it would and more. I've spoken to a few different fellows on here that wish thiers had more power but I dont know what to attribute that to as mine has seemed to be pretty much unstoppable. As it is a hydrostatic drive tractor you will lose some power if you are using any of your hydraulics at the same time you are pushing forward but thats pretty much the norm.. If I were you I would test drive both the 440 and the 450. If I had to do it all over again I would probably have gone with the 450--BUT thats just a CHARACTER FLAW on my part!.. I always have to have more... By the way. Could you tell me what they are pricing the tractor with FEL at by itself before the added cab? I too have considered a cab but pricing will definitely play the biggest part.

CDN stands for Canadian Dollars. Everything we buy in Canada is more expensive than our friends in the US. In order to compare prices it is important to know where the poster lives.

I didn't price either the Kioti or Bobcat without the cab as I expect to blow snow, but I expect that it is around $6000 for the cab.

I am interested in the CT440 over the CT335 as the Lift capacity of the loader is significant. Price and my budget will determines How Big I buy. It will be difficult.

Dave. I know what you are saying about the 335. Hard to believe the loader cap on it is pretty much the same as the 200 series but thats how it is. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with the 440 but if you do intend on using that loader to its max capacity MAKE SURE you have a fairly HEAVY attachment on the back! I almost learned that the hard way.. The 440 is very strong. I have had no problems getting a full bucket everytime I use it (digging loads of dirt) Breaking new ground with the loader, and also hooked up to a 6 ft brush hog. No problems on any count. I originally purchased it with the 8tb backhoe which I have also been using quite a bit - only need to run the machine at about 1500-2000 rpm to get the max out of it. I do plan to push it to the max here soon and see if it will operate a good friend of mines 7ft landscape rake--maybe a stretch -- but we'll see. I'll keep you posted best as I can, and post you some pics soon. GOOD LUCK!

I purchased the CT440 with FEL, Cab, one set of Hydraulics and Ballast Box. Total Price $28,200 CDN (before tax). CT440 with FEL 20,000, Cab option was 6600, Hydraulics 1000, Ballast Box 600.

Very pleased with it.
