CT230 2013 HST tractor

Every time I go to use the lights the gauges die including tach, and I never get he lights to come on. only the flashers work. After abit everything come back to normal. Never get lights to come on though. Machine starts does everything I need it to do but no lights. Can't figure it out. I don't know if it is a bad ground or something to with ign switch.

At a guess without further info sounds like a short to me with an auto-reset circuit breaker in the circuit

auto rest circuit breaker? Well that makes sense. I have looked at light switch and it seems fine but very difficult to get tester on it. same with ignition switch

I would pull the plugs to both headlight bulbs, then check for continuity to ground at the + side of each connector. You can't do them one at a time -must be both disconnected before you start checking because a bulb is a resistor to ground.
If you have continuity to ground it means you have a short in the system. If that's the case, then disconnect the headlight switch and check again -if no more continuity to ground replace your switch. If still continuity to ground you have an issue with your wiring or headlight relay if you have one or with your auto reset circuit breaker if you have one. Just keep disconnecting and testing in sequence to logically isolate the problem.

Here is a common type of auto reset circuit breaker: I would look at your wiring diagram to see what your starting circuit has

Looks like you have both high and low beam relays

I would be suspicious of those relays or your headlight switch. All of which can be pulled and tested individually
