Tractor
CT235
Been reading a lot on this site and still can't decide which one should I buy... Using it only around the house moving dirt, logs and driveway. Any advise for newbie? I don't know anything about tractor but want to fix my backyard on my own. I got 4 acres with a lot of woods.
How 'bout those coupon that some of the guys have... anyone care to send it my way? I can use it for a blade for my driveway. :D
TIA.

I will tell you I had the same quandry, but I bought a 235 and am totally pleased with it. If I got a 335 I wouldn just get the shuttle shift

I chose 235 because lift capacity was not much less, and i preferred the smaller frame size for woods and logging maneuverability. I was worried about vertical hydro filter on the 235, but I have taken into some very rough terrain with no problems and no skid plate. If I were to go up in size I would have gone for the 440. Not alot more money but alot more lift in the same shell as the 335.

235 will be fine for what you have described as work

:confused3:This is the quote I got on CT235 including...

Factory Installed Standard Level Package M1205-R01-C02 1
Loader Joystick
Control Valve

GP Tires - 25X8.5-14, 6 PR (Front) 15-19.5, 8 PR (Rear) M1205-R02-C01 1
Dealer Installed Bob-Tach (Dealer installed) 7162971 1
Rear Hydraulic Valve, 0 to 1 7150492 1
Attachments 7TL Dealer Installed Front End Loader - Bob-Tach DI7TLBT 1

For $16,500 plus tax (still hagling on tax if I purchase out of state should not pay for it?). Good deal? :confused3: What is Standard package? Is there other kind of package worth asking for?

well they used to have what was called a deluxe package which included the grill guard, set of rear remotes, suspension seat and a larger loader bucket, I think now there is no such package any more but I may be wrong

Yeah that 335 is kind of a tweaner model but now its their entry level SST which honestly would prob make it just about right for one who wants that option.

Most people are prob gonna go straight to the 4 series tractors if the 235 isnt enough.

So I went to the dealer today and test the CT235. It is nice and will fit my needs plus more. One kicker though is he made me try the CT440 and I kind to like it more :D. Now the purchase is on hold cause I need to sleep it over. I told him to give me a price quote with same in CT235 but include boxblade, blade scraper and fork all implements to be bobtachs. We walked his lot and they have plenty of new and used, so I said used implents will be good too if price is right. Choices, choices, choices...:D:laughing::licking::thumbsup:

These guys are right on about the CT235 V the 335. I had the same decision to make. The 235 is a nice machine. I'd go bigger if I was thinking larger than a 235.
