It’s been over a year thought I’d update with good news. The rebuilt engine started using coolant last winter when plowing. Bobcat finally got the new engine a few weeks ago ( the tractor was still running but kinda rough). They replaced the engine under warranty and it’s running better than ever. Nice and smooth the loader even seems to have more force. It took over a year but Bobcat came through. The new engine says Daedong… I thought it was a kijugi or something like that. Did they switch? Anyway I’m happy with it, even got the mower deck adjusted right so it doesn’t create long divots when backing.

Did they replace it because the engine was using coolant or they were waiting to get a new engine and rebuilt your current one till a new one became available?

Kioti uses Daedong not Kukje if that is what you meant. TYM uses Kukje.

Finally am able to login again don’t know why. The first rebuilt engine was using coolant but was running. They rebuilt again and ordered a new engine . The new engine took months to arrive. The second rebuilt was running a bit rough. They tore it apart and thought possibly something wrong with the block, compression test I think a leak down wasn’t good. The brand new engine runs better than ever than the rebuilt one. So I’m happy now but it took a long time to sort.
