If you install 1/4 in QD's, in a tee in each pump circuit, you can just plug in the gage for each pumpyou want to test. It will show the actual pressure being developed by a cyl or motor.

The gage will reflect the pressure developed, if any for any hyd evolution.

The hyd test sets above were built from parts,.

Just a gage, reducer fitting and a QD. The other one added a short 1/4 in diameter hose from 12 to 30 in would be good.

I think I figured it out today! I was working the control and found that the noise I am hearing is coming from the supply line running down the lift arm. Right before this happened I had the aux couplers off because one was broken. I wonder if the cause of this is air in that line? Does that sound reasonable?

I plan to hook it to my brush mower and run it for a bit. That should circulate the fluid and pull any air out with it?

JJ does it sound like that will work to move the air out? I can't think of any other way to do it. Right now I think it is just pushing the air back and forth in the main line and then compressing when I hold the button down?
