I just got back from pricing some tractors and want to get your opinions. I can get a 2180 out the door price of $2437 or the Deere at $2648. More leg room on the Deere could be the deciding factor for me; I'm real tall and need to be comfortable riding around. What do you think about these prices and these machines? Both will handle cutting my yard with no problem and the occasional plowing of snow shouldn't be an issue. What do you think?

I just don't think you can beat the reliability of deere.They also seem more comfortable to me.

The only thing I can say is that the Cub has shaft drive and a cast iron servicable trans. I don't believe the Deere has either. And of course there is the 1hp difference. But the Cub's are a little tight on large men...good luck shopping, btw those are good prices for the units.
