Are you getting full range of motion from the throttle cable/linkage? You might need to adjust where the throttle cable attaches to the linkage. The only other home-brewed option is put a tighter spring on the governor. I wouldn't recommend that as you could (and eventually will) blow up your engine, hydro and yourself! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
