You might find a dealer at this time of year that would sell you a GT2550 with plow for $5000 to move it out (year end model.) I got a GT2544 (almost the same, smaller deck) for $5000 earlyer this fall. I realy like mine. Works great. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Did you get a snowblower with your Cub 2544 for $5000?

Yeah, depending on the dealer you might can get him to move a couple hundred off that $5000.00 price. Never sold a snow blower here in GA so I have no idea how dealers up North price their snow equipment but I know I would be willing to take a little off that figure..

I paid sticker for my 2544 in March 2005 ($2999). MSRP's are a couple hundred higher now. ~$3500 for the 2550 and ~$1500 for the rest is a pretty good deal. A real good walk behind snowblower (high-end ariens, honda or simplicity) will run $1500.

I bought my GT2550 back in February and paid $3100 plus tax. It was mainly used for mowing this year. I have around 43 hours on mine, and have had no problems at all. Very solid machine and great running. I was quoted ~$1500 for the snowblower, weights and chains. So $5k seems to be a pretty good deal.
