Cub Cadet 3206 too Slow

I have a 3206 Cub Cadet, which I am happy with, with the exception of it being too slow.
I guesstimate about 3mph..... getting this figure from my 2017 Craftsman (MTD) , Rated at 5MPH.
Transmission filter and Cub Cadet fluid has been done, but still painfully slow.
Is there an adjustment on the 3000 series to make them faster moving ?

The pedal adjustment is a balance between forward and reverse speeds. The faster you adjust it for reverse speed the slower the forward speed will be. I had a 2004 3235 which I adjusted for the minimum tolerable reverse speed to get the maximum forward speed. When it still seemed too slow I made a modification to allow further forward pedal travel which helped. If you search for my posts a few years ago you will find a description and photos.

Try reaching down and pulling up on your reverse pedal. If you experience a sizeable amount of speed in reverse, then yes-you need to adjust the balance for the forward and reverse take-up. If its slow, too. Check if you have and play in the linkage or bushings underneath. I have a 3205, myself.
