Cub Cadet 6284 PTO not working...

Good evening, I recently bought a Cub Cadet 6284 with loader and MMM. A few weeks ago while mowing some heavier brush, the mid mount mower (mmm) stopped running with the PTO engaged. The entire PTO system stopped working, and neither mid nor rear PTOs are turning anymore. With the tractor running in low, and RPMs high (I've also tried low RPMs), I turn on the PTO switch. The PTO dash light turns on and I hear a brief noise as if the PTO is engaging but nothing happens. The PTO light stays on but neither mid nor rear PTOs spin. I have played with placing the tractor in each High-Neutral-Low, and separately engaging rear-both-mid PTOs. My hydraulic fluid level is good at the dipstick, but they still don't spin.

I've seen some similar posts here, and obtained a decent service manual, but nothing that answers the problem. Anyone have experience with this? I'd appreciate your insight...
