cub cadet charging system upgrade?

i have a 2010 cub cadet with a 25 kohler courage. i want to upgrade the stock 15 amp charging system to 25 or so. im running a bercomac snowblower with electric lift and chute controls. it uses alot of power when using the winch and dont want to kill another battery this winter.

Some of these engines came equipped with 25 amp charging systems according to the Kohler Courage service manuals.Sounds like you could swap out the necessary parts with the coils with more capacity and would probably require other parts also.

Probably the most economical way to reach your goal would be to use a DC to DC converter. Call these people and discuss your objective with them. 12v input, 16v output 260W DC/DC converters 700 Watts peak from PowerStream. They probably will be able to prove the correct path for you to follow.

Not quite sure why you're suggesting that, it would not help.

found a 25 amp upgrade kit online. comes with regulator, stator and some other parts. just need to make sure it fits my motor.
