A couple days ago I posted this in the Cub Cadet L&G section with many views and no replies so I知 also posting here.
A couple months ago my drive belt came loose and shredded my hydrostatic fan on my LTX1050. Fixed easy enough (with help of PB Blaster). However, now I am having problems going forward. When I press the forward pedal there is a delay of a couple seconds before the machine will go forward and when it does it sort of jumps forward but then rides fine as long as I maintain a certain speed. It almost feels like a spring is loose and takes a second to get enough tension to engage the transmission but the pedal has to be pushed forward enough to get it going that it is low-mid speed position which is what I believe causes it to jump forward. Reverse is absolutely fine though, which adds to my assumption of a spring problem on the forward mechanism. Could it be a linkage problem though with these symptoms? Did I screw something up when I dropped the transaxle to replace the fan? Anyone experience this?
Thanks!
