A older (much wiser) friend of mine recently sold me a Cub Cadet model 1315...for $250!!! (He sure is a nice guy) It came with the original paperwork and original receipt. He sold it to me because he had taken it in trade for some work he did on someone else's tractor and did not need it. The guy he got it from lives down the street from me, and treats his equipment very well.
When he got it, it had a blown transmission, (He replaced with a new one), he replaced the battery, the seat, changed the oil, tuned the engine, put new blades on it, and replaced the oil filter.
Is there anything else I should do to it? It really seems to run well. I have never owned a Cub before and want to make sure all is ok. The guy who I got it from has worked on engines for years.
Also, I would like to find a supplier for used parts. How about a grass catcher? Anyone know where to find one?
