Hi Guys,

I was mowing tonight between rains and my deck wheel turned sideways when it caught on the edge of the drive and knocked this tire off the wheel.

Any tips to get this tire back on?

It's hard to see in the picture, but there is a ridge around the inside of the tire thats really going to resist my attempts.

This is a $68 Cub wheel, about $33 in you replace with a Toro deck wheel, they are two weeks old or so.

Thanks,
Curt

Put it in a pot of boiling water until it softens up and while wearing gloves see if you can slip it back on.

You could try a soapy detergent solution and bang it on with a rubber mallet.

The reason I suggested the hot water was that when I was a kid(many moons ago) they used sell replacement semi pneumatic tires for wagons and tricycles. You would just get the tire not a new rim and I remember that's how they would install them.
