Cub Rumor???

Approximately 100 of one's 400 posts are basically the same repetitive whine, referred to as, "checks and balances," from the author. I refer to it as brand bashing myself. Just like the infamous Gatorboy and his BS with Craftsman. They start out being good members, then run out of helpful, creative, or useful information, and then decide to run up their post counting with cute little posts full of colorful type just saying the same idiotic things over and over again.

I really did feel bad and sympathize with Hard at the beginning. There is no reason anyone should have gone through what he went through in the case of his Cub Cadet purchase. But the thing is, no one looks to be sympathizing with him anymore with the continuous nonsense. Like Hard, I went through a very tough time with a Mitsubishi automobile many years ago. The difference is I got the psychotherapy I needed to relieve my tension with Mitsubishi to stop the crying after I realized nobody likes a crybaby, and I realized I was not going to single handedly stop everyone from buying a Mitsubishi car

I don't think anything Cub does will effect the resale of his JD, he claims to be happy with the JD, and his Cub days are long over. If he desires to continue his checks and balances, (Bashing) and the moderators don't do anything about it, he darn well knows now every one of his checks will receive enough balances for everyone to figure out what he is all about. Then will come that lonely day he has JD problems and he might need help or advice from someone with an issue, and others might not be so apt to offer it to him.

Not at all, dont think for a second when members patience runs out in a Kubota, Kioti, Deere, Simplicity, NH or others that this wouldnt happen.
Honestly folks on this forum have basically pleaded, asked nicely for a year or more for the poster to tone down the rheteric or negativity. Basically the answer back was "up yours" I will say what I have or want to say. Search the archives to see for yourself. Oh well I guess this shouldnt be a surprise to anybody

ducati996, I was just carrying on. I went and read some past posts as you suggested and found them humorous. I don't hang around in this forum much but I guess if the whining and griping was in a forum I was in a lot I'd get stirred, too. There are some wonderful medications out there to help people get over their issues and themselves. Amazing how a tractor issue could drive someone to that point.

CDsdad, there has honestly been next to no griping in this forum at all, which is why so many of us Cub people enjoy it so much and look forward to posting here regularly.

Yet when every polite, reasonable resource has been exhausted to quell a certain poster from continuing his infantile Cub Cadet bashing charade, members are not sure what else to do to keep this poster from ruining the spirit of our forum, which seems to be his sole intent of showing up here. He can't seem to raise his post count fast enough with positive posts on the JD forum, so he comes here every other day with a new post title that is just a re-titled version of his same old whine about his problems with his past 5234D. Like another poster mentioned, if that is a Chevy truck (By General Motors) in his avatar he turns an ignition switch made by MTD every time he starts the thing.

He used to bother me to, but I found that if you ignore him it really deflated his ego.

My 5254 now has 238 hard woking hours, a few scratches but otherwise runs great. Do you think that if I whine enough, Cub would offer me a new machine. Seems to me that he was treated MORE than fair.

You are hitting the nail on the head about ignoring those types of people. I may be wrong on this since I have never used it, but it is my understanding you can go into your "home" and set people on ignore and never have to see another one of their posts... unless someone quotes it of course.... great tool to use if you are so inclined.
