Culipactor - what does it weigh?

I bought a 7 ft. double roller like this and loaded it in a Nissan Frontier pickup truck. I had no problem. I did not have ratchet straps, so I used rope to tie it down and put a board on each side to keep the wheels from rolling around. I also put a piece of plywood down to protect the bedliner. The weight is going to be less than 1200 lbs.

You put plywood down to protect the bedliner which is there to protect the bed. Didn't you worry about protecting the plywood also or was the cultipacker on it to keep it from blowing out of the truck

Mission Complete. It fit fine in the bed of the Tundra. I agree that the weight is around 1200 lbs. Time to make it pretty again!

Hey, nice find! I spent quite a bit of time bringing mine back up to 'better than new' with new bearings and hardened axles and it has worked great. I figure that if it lasted 80 years sitting outside with nothing more than wood bearings in grease it ought to last the rest of my life with better axles, real bearings that can be greased and being stored inside. I just used mine again last week. With the regular 2" trailer hitch I put on mine I can pull it with my ATV or my RTV. Since both of those weigh less than any tractor I have as well as having low pressure tires, it works very well for a finished grade. Good luck!!
