I have disced, seeded a new lawn, can you cultipack the grass seed too much???I have ran over it probably three times, and might again tommorrow before I straw, I don't want to ruin the new grass seed, what do you guys think, thanks Eric

If you created a good seedbed with your disc, it shouldn't be necessary to cultipack more than once. All you want is good seed to soil contact. The most important thing now is rain. If you get a good rain soon, you should get great germination.

Walk over the seeded area. You should be able to walk with minimal foot printing (1/2" - 1/4" typical). If you are leaving 1" deep prints, it's probably wanting more weight in the packer for your soil conditions.

If there are no prints visible, you're probably too heavy or have made too many passes.
