Has anyone heard of American Manufacturing Inc. in St. Joseph, Michigan. I bought a 7' cultivator today and after cleaning the name plate I think that's what it says. I never heard of it. Thanks.

Never heard of them either but doing a quick Google search, I came up with American Manufacturing Company in St. Joseph, Minnesota not Michigan. Here is their website American Manufacturing Company : Interchangeable Mud Pump Parts : Mud Pump Part Kits but it doesn't look like they make cultivators anymore. If they are the same company, seems they are in the pump business now.

Yeah, thanks, I did and got the same. The name tag is not real legible but it sure looks like Michigan to me. St. Joseph may not be the town either. It looks to be a pretty old piece of equipment.

With a name like that it could easy be more than one company. At same time many companies who made farm equipment also made other stuff.
