Culvert Project

I installed this culvert as my first project with the BH on my NEW L5030HST-R4. I have never installed a culvert before but it seems to be working well. The problem is the ditch is a major water shed area for the hill above the barn. The horses come and go every day and cross the ditch. I could never get the area to be anything more than a mud hole. I'm hoping this will help the problem.

What do you guys think? Good Idea or Waste of Time.....
