Sorry, no asphalt; as stated, dirt road. Secondary class 5 road, and no easement; ROW, yes; (I've been shown the state regulations by the town officials).
25' from center of the roadway onto my property. Town controls all driveway culverts, by permit only. And they don't have to be at or in the ROW, just at or in my driveway, leading water toward the town maintained roadway. YMMV.
Which is why surveyors have to licensed in each state they work. Land laws and standards very area to area

So, anyways, to the original question; the driveway; 15" X 20 ft long culvert of whatever material you like will be fine, just try to get a good bit of coverage.

Not everyone lives on county roads, don't remember reading if the OP does or not. My roads are private and maintained by the property owners and an "hoa".
I'm getting ready to replace the old galvanized steel with 40ft of double wall plastic, the road was moved a while back and the culvert exits in the wrong place now.

I had to go with 12" due to hight limitations, and I'll still have to rework the ditch deeper.

One thing I don't like about 12" is apparently basketballs and soccer balls can get stuck in them pretty easy, had to remove 3 or 4 from the previous owners kids from another double walled culvert on the lower part of the driveway when I bought the house.

They make elliptical steel pipe and elliptical concrete pipe. The smallest size I know of is an 12"×18" (equal to 15" flow), and 14" × 23" (equal to 18") both in ERCP. The help with the low coverage issue

We bought two of them at the co-op in Maryville.

For clarification on the other comments..... this is on private property and we are the ones who maintain it.

I would have loved to get elliptical concrete but the price goes way up for that, also the ditches are pretty narrow so run out of room there also.
I never had a problem with the existing 12" backing up, even though I had to dig a couple feet down to find the lower end!

Richard; does your pipe use a molded in connection or a clamshell coupler?

Hard to tell from the pictures but it looked like the bottom of the culvert was lower than the ditch.

I had a need for large (48") culvert pipe on my property. HDP was going to cost around $900 for a 20' section. I was able to find a guy locally that had 48" surplus Re-enforced Concrete Pipe. He charged me around $100 for three 9' sections. They were used, but in great shape. Sometimes it pays to ask around the neighborhood.

What has not been said is that a nice deep 'sump' at the entrance side of your culvert will save U lots of headaches.
Naturally that sump will want regular cleaning out from collection or leaves and other debris that tends to accumulate in ditches.
