Getting back to the thread subject.....cummins has been having epa compliance issues for years and years. Why do they take the path of cheating?

Because the gov___ment sets the bar too high for emissions expectations for diesel engines.
This done purposefully, so they will fail, then the EPA fines them into bankruptcy.

I’m sure you can see this and it only benefits foreign based industries than make electrically powered replacements in China, India, etc.

Yes, they did. But only a very naive snowflake would believe the cheating ends there. Eventually, all of them will get caught. This has more to do with ending the run of the Internal combustion engine in favor of mostly foreign made electric motors than clean air.
The clean air part is for all the naive, emotional teen-age mentality types. The gov___ment needs their support like the Khmer Rouge needed a “red guard” in Cambodia.

Electric motor production relies on extremely polluting processes?

The “clean air” part is just to gain favorability from the secularists who view the environment as their “God”.

Once all the ICE is gone, virtually all US corporations like Cummins, IH, Detoit, etc are gone and virtually everything is powered by Chinese built electrical systems, and war breaks out, we are FUBARED.
