Good suggestion on the vest Roy....but if I could I'd have a glove box and a center-council and more on my tractor. I always have stuff to store...and not enough places to put it....lol. FWIW.....I did make a good tool box for the majority of my tools and pins and stuff....but its not real accessible when I'm in the seat.

Foggy, good job on the nice bracket. Now that box just needs to be green or yellow.

That's a great job, Foggy!!
In fact, I still have the pictures from when you first posted them a few years ago. If there are to be more tools carried (heavier weight), Foggy's design could handle the weight...much more so then the thin sheet metal of the 790's fender. Accessibility is the only downside (as Foggy wrote in his post).

In my case, after years of owership, I've found extra lynch pins, pliers and channel locks were all I've ever needed to carry in a tool box. As written in my previous post, valuables are in my pockets.
A way to carry a 25' chain would be nice. Too heavy for a tool box (Foggy's box could handle the weight, but probably doesn't have the space required). Currently, I carry the chain (used for dragging trees and branches mostly) in the ballast box or loader bucket (if you carry in the loader bucket, run the chain through one or two bucket hooks if you have them...prevents loss and reminds you the chain is in the bucket).
Since my property is about 2½ acres and the field (about 5 acres) I maintained is right next door, I don't need to carry much else. I have carried water bottles slung over my shoulder when brush cutting that field though.

Yeah....some day I'm gonna paint that box....but this way I'm all decorated for Christmas. ;)

Regarding the mount....I wish I could claim to originate that idea...but I got it from another guy here on TBN. It's is tricky to get that bracket mounted in the right place so to not interfere with the seat or the top link or your vision and still get the box to fit. Then too there is a compound angle to mate to, which makes it a custom fit affair.

I am VERY happy with the bracket and box....and after using it all last year I can say that it does not impede my vision when operating rear implements and it's held up quite well. I did manage to put a small kink in the center of the box via the top link, when I lifted one of my implements (I didn't think I could do that).

Roy, "Goo Gone" takes that double sided tape crud off pretty well.
