Good luck with it. really i get along well hope to get 10yrs at least. L4 is degenerative. Its been one and half.

With the tractor like I said really dont know where I am at with it just have to see. I hate to swap because its paid for with the screwy economy like we have. Hate to spend 6k or so on trade, if I can for that.

I wish you the best with your back and your tractor. I wish I could help you more with price options but I have not priced a TL-A in a few years.

I have a TN75DA, 06 model. Loaded. The loader is BushHog model but I have never been satisfied with it. Its slow. I had a ROPS model before with same loader and it worked very well. This tractor the loader leaks down and so does the rear attachment if left over night. Kind of pi$$ me of for a $38k tractor. I also have had what seems to be air or something going through lines when steering. Seems to whine and feel kind of wierd. Also if leaving the pull type attachments they leak down too. I just have not been happy with this tractor.

I have about decided to trade. Considering TL90 or Kubota 85 or 9540. Just like the bigger tractors. Less bounce than the 75. Really wondering if some of my attachments will be kind of small if I do. I have a 84" box blade and 8' hay king ripper I am wondering if they will be narrow. The disc I normally use are 8.5' pull types. I can pull them fine with the 75. Actually could pull without 4 wheel drive on in dryer soil. You will stick it quick if its wet without it.

Other reasons for the change is user friendly layout. The TN75 is not setup for operator use. The remote levers are basically up against the seat, so is the lift and draft. The knobs or lever ends are forever coming off when you lift your attachment causing your hand to slip sometimes. I do like the quick lift setting and Kubota doesnt have it. JD and NH do but green is pricey.

Whatever i get i will be adding quick attachments to the tractor and attachments. Hooking up and changing is a pain in the ***** with the TN. Sure makes me miss the 4630 I had. Should have kept it.

Any opinions.

You have a dealer problem, not a tractor problem. If you were satisfied with the performance of your prior TN, the new one can be made to perform equally as well. Going back to trade for a TL/A model will probably lead to the same dealer dissatisfaction you have now over some issue or other. If you can't find a New Holland dealer willing to do proper warranty repairs on your current TN, you need to switch brands. One note on the loader; if the engineers at Bush Hog weren't smart enough to mechanically tie the two halves of the QA coupler together, one side is guaranteed to travel faster than the other with no attachment coupled up. That's just a fact.
I would like to know why attaching implements to this TN is more difficult than the prior TN which you claim satisfaction with. It's kinda hard for me to imagine a tractor with every single spool valve leaking down, but I have learned anything is possible.

The dealer moved the existing BH loader from my 05 TN75 Rops to the 06 TN75 cab model. I complained from the first few weeks that it seemed slower. Then came one cylinder outrunning the other. The only way to attach something now is if you have something on it go ahead and run it out to position to pick up something new. Then just drop off and pick up the new. If you adjust it its a pain. I have known the dealer for years but now the sons have taken over the business. I bought because I have always had blue and they are close. Its not the same I dont think but then again they are not the same old 8 speed tractors either.

Speaking of that I had a 3910 and a 4630 turbo that were a breeze to hook up to things compared to the TN. Just bigger tractor and its 4wd. You can just press the brakes and make it move right or left like a 2wd tractor. The others didnt have the adjust lift arm ends but I never needed them. I could roll the tractor a tick just by grabbing a cleat on the tire. Probably implements were lighter too. Also the fact that I didnt have near the back problems then either. Some but not anything comparable. hence the reason I am going to invest in something quick attach.

The features of the TN are good. I am not bashing the tractor but dang I have had some problems. AC leaks, hyd leaks, filter prob, .... Some are not good for me as far as other things I have found on other tractors but that is pesonal pref.

Most of us with TN's really like them. If you moved the loader from one TN to another and it worked fine on first TN, then it is obvious that the second TN has a problem that needs to be fixed under warranty. Same about A/C. If the dealer doesn't take care of it involve the New Holland rep.

Threeman, I maybe wouldn't rule out the 5425 yet. John Deere participates in Member plus discount programs with different associations such as the AQHA. You mentioned that you're a rider. If you belong to the AQHA and run a full time horse operation, you are eligible for 23% discount off MSRP on that 5x25 series. We initially ruled out John Deere due to the price and instead shopped around all other "colors". Almost bought a Kioti DK65 which I liked, but decided to check out the Deeres again after finding out about the Members Plus program, in our case offered to Equine Canada members. Also, the farmer I buy round bales from has a new 5525. He told me when he shopped around, he got the best deal from the local Deere dealer. Sure enough, our local JD dealer came up with a quote that I calculated was exactly 23% off list. This really levelled the playing field. We went for the 5425 cab-plus with 542 SL FEL. It ended up only costing about $3000 more than the best cash price I could negotiate on the DK65. For that we got 24 x 24 power shuttle, EH hitch, 16 more horsepower and a way nicer cab with air seat and better ergonomics. Only drawback - the low rate John Deere Credit financing was not available.

do you mind if I asked what the 5425 & loader was?

This is in Canadian funds. It added about 2% to the US price for exchange. The only thing that I changed from this quote is, for an additional $500.00 I specified a universal Skid Steer adapter plate for the loader.
