Cushion cylinder for tilt trailer

Hello I would like to add a cushion cylinder to an old tilt trailer. Fabricating the cylinder mounts are not a problem,but i am confused about the hydraulic plumbing. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

I don't know if it would be any different from a double acting (power up/ power down) dump trailer type application only a shorter cylinder. It is simple if it is done this way, just two hoses going from hyd pump that as two solonoids on it for power up & down to actuator.
