Cushman Mini truck governor help

Hi new to the site but have read a lot already. I am in search of some info on my cushman white truck (mini truck) I just bought. Is there a way to remove the governor? The trucks that are imported do 45 to 50 from what i have read but mine doest 22mph. Any help would be great thanks.

google some more? The below info is nothing but 5 min of other forum posts that know much more about them than TBN.

seems there are various versions of this out there. Sounds like most of them are mechanical. Do you have a high range? some talk about a physical clip that keeps you from shifting to high range.

on others there seems to be some deleebob that from the speedo to the trans.

To disconnect the speed limiter is the easy part, just remove the sensor that goes between the speedo cable and the transfer case, and re- install the cable without it, I just zip tied it up out of the way.

thanks can anyone help with my issue engine just died was told after checking the normal causes maybe gov. so wanted to bypass it
