Custom Add ons for Grey Mitsubishi Tractor

Thanks everyone for the compliments, the grill and weights were painted today and mower was prepared for primer. Will post new pics tomorrow.

L@@Ks great, I'm with you on rebuilding these older implements, They were made much stronger then todays stuff are, Plus to mention save mega bucks
I hope you don't mind me suggesting and you may already have plans to do so....... But where you have the back cuts on top of the box steel, you might think of capping these area's off with a weld completely all way around, this could be a weak spot as Box steel has its strength from it being boxed, not to say it ever will but it could RIP or become cracked at these points if ever got the cutter in a bind,
I built what I call a trencher to pull with a 3 pnt hitch and used 2x2 box steel for the part connecting the pins to connect to the tractor, I took great pride in this build, I pulled it about 20 ft and snag a root, needless to say it bent the 2x2 box, the tool worked great and still does i have to wind up reinforcing it with some angle iron,
But i think with using box steel for a lifting and pulling a bush hog will be fine, its just that 1 area could be its weak point,

Nice work.

One suggestion on the hog is to run some light weight pieces of angle or flat stock back to the tail wheel area from the new hitch you made. It will make it much stronger when lifted.

Next project is to replace the tailwheel folk, when I acquired the bushhog they were bent, My wife is all over me about painting everything to match, She says "all you are doing is cutting fields and weeds, its going to get all scratched up and dirty", she just doesnt understand, lol,

Here is the total package: 16 ft trailer with 2 ft dove tail, 6000 lb. winch, chrome wheels, and aluminum tongue box, Mitsubishi MT2001 with brushguard, and 5 ft bushhog.
