Custom-made hydraulic hose needed!

Anyone know a good place to order custom made hydraulic hoses on the internet?

I have a BX2200 with a new BX2763A front blade and a BX2751 quick hitch. The hoses are way too long! The hoses attached to the valve along with the hoses attached to the blade and quick hitch add up to a hose that lays on the ground and gets in the way of the tractor tires. I was hoping to get some custom made hoses to make the installation much cleaner.

Do You have the retaining ring mounted on the right side? It bolts to the frame.

I have the same setup .My hoses do have slack but not that much!

I do have the hoses running through the retaining ring, but it doesn't help much. I have two short hoses (6" or less) coming from my hydraulic lever and two long (18" or less) that contribute to the length. I understand if I didn't have the front loader the hoses would hook directly into the valve and not into the hoses coming from it. If I hooked directly to it I wouldn't have this problem.

I have mine hooked directly to the valve, but then I don't have a loader .
I have just the stand and valve, which should be close to the same. My quick connects are right on the valve.

I tore a FEL hose while demolishing an old shed last spring - when I called the dealer - they referred me to a local auto parts store: NAPA auto parts.

$25 and half an hour later i was back in business!

Don't know if you have something similar in your area - but worth a try. Otherwise try:

Surplus Center - 3/8 Hydraulic Hose

They seem to have a nice selection - and very nicely priced - of hydraulic supplies. I just don't know what size the hose / fittings / threads are. When I went into the auto parts store - I had the hose in hand - so I knew everything would work.

I stopped in at a local NAPA auto parts store and for $5 + parts they will make me a custom hydraulic hose.

You don't have your profile filled out, so I have no idea as to where in the world you live. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I had some Kubota supplied hoses that were too long and I took them to a Parker hose distributor in Webster MA and they cut them and installed new end fittings. Cost was just for the fitting and installation. If I had a new hose made up, I would have paid the same times 2, plus the cost of the hose. The piece that is cut off can also have a new end put on it at a later date, so keep the stub if you go this route. If you are near Webster MA, PM me and I will give you the information. If not, then call Call 1-800-C-Parker and give them your zip code and that you are looking for a hose distributor. I assume that your Kubota was supplied with Parker hoses like mine..
