Yep, cherubs... would you like to see some of them?

Bathroom is too small to show all of this on a couple pictures... if ya ever want to stop by and "contemplate", you're welcome to! :p

That is some beautiful craftmanship(craftswomanship?). I would be afraid to use the bathroom though; it is so pretty. I'd be asking about the bathroom in the garage or shop :D

Thank you. When people come out & see the log home, they are a bit surprised to see how she's decorated much of the interior.

As for your contemplations... fret not, though I don't have any loo in the garage or shop, I DO however, have an eight foot wide bucket on my loader which is capable of lifting something like 3 tons...

  :p

As a side comment that perhaps someone might get a chuckle out of...

I didn't post a pic of the commode but it's a fancy Kohler unit. Wife took the tank lid and painted it to match the lavatory which you CAN see. The tank lid was fired in the oven.

(this is the same oven I put my motorcyle cylinder in, to TRY to remove some cranky crank bearings)

Anyway, the first version of this toilet we had was very problematic. Talked to Kohler and they'd had some issues with it, so they sent out another (100% checked this time).

New bowl/tank arrived and we swapped it out. We however KEPT the tank LID which is being stored in the attic (it's unpainted).

I keep telling her that we have GOT to be the only people on earth, who have a "winter season" and a "summer season" tanklid for their toilet.

Building a custom shower for those who may not remember. had several quotes and as it turns out, a guy who has worked with my wife for 10 years has done tile on the side (during those 10 years) and is now back doing this type thing, amongst other construction, for his living.

Thanks for any thoughts

Might be worth checking: Online Product Catalog

Richard,

Go check out this site. John Bridge Ceramic Tile Forums - powered by vBulletin

Ask your questions there and you'll get several professionsal tile setters to respond. You want to make sure the "structure" of the shower is correct before your guy gets too far along or it will cause problems down the road.

Good Luck,
Kevin
