Cut pine trees for corner posts???

If that hard wood is bodark aka horse apple trees,, they make excellence fence post and will last a life time,, splite them while they are green,, if you wait on them to crack because of age you got a long wait.. two wedges and 5 lbs sledge hammer.. go to work.. Lou
