Robert,

Absolutely correct! These hourly rates I'm discussing are only for the actual mowing. If there is debris/refuse removal/clean-up type of work, there would be additional charges for time and equipment. Of course, I'd remind the owner that those charges would only be one time charges for the initial clean up. For any mowings after that, I'd be able to charge my reduced mowing only rate. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I bet that was tough to focus on College when you were making that kind of money without it!

My biggest problme right now is that I live 120 miles from where I am considering my base! So everytime I get a job, I'm starting out 240 miles in the hole, which translates to about $30 in fuel. That's not too bad but it is starting in a hole, but that's my only choice!

This might be a stupid question but why a real estate office?

Thanks for the info!

No such thing as a stupid question! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Realtors have a lot of empty lots that need to be maintained. Empty lots look much nicer to prospective buyers when they are routinely mowed.

They also might need mowing/clean-up services for a listed property that has structures but doesn't have anyone living there. Nothing worse than trying to sell an unkempt yard around a house that's for sale.

Also, many realtors are joined at the hip with developers, and developers ALWAYS seem to have lots of empty property that needs maintaining.

And like I mentioned before, don't forget banks and credit unions. They are resposnible for a lot of properties too!
