For that "sticky" dirt/mud problem with BH buckets, try this solution; weld a Heavy (the heavier the better) length or two of chain to the inside of the bucket. Weld only one link to the bucket (near the bucket attachment point) so the chain swings freely when emptying your bucket. We use this on some of our BH and excavator buckets, the weight of the chain will force out about 90 to 95% of the material. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Gentlemen: An old man told me a secret when using a 12 inch bucket I will share with you. The day before using the bucket clean it, if possible pressure wash all residual dirt from the bucket. Let it dry. The morning you go to use the bucket, coat the inside of the bucket with diesel fuel before using. I know it sounds crazy but it works and works well for most of the day.
