Kioti ds4510
I just bought my first new tractor, a Kioti DS4510. /so far it's a great machine. As I'm doing a lot of landscaping, Im adding a cutting edge to my FEL bucket. I'm having a bit of trouble finding a high carbide, bolt-on cutting edge for the Kioti 66 inch bucket. Any ideas or suggestion?

Buy the one made for your bucket from your dealer.

I hate to be the guy that answers a question with a question but, why a cutting edge instead of a tooth bar. I do similar sort of work and I keep a tooth bar on 90% of the time and frequently wonder how I could do without it.

Easier for picking up poured dirt and rocks for me.

What's wrong with the edge that's on it?

Thanks for the input. Murph, your advice on starting with the dealer was brilliant...they actually did have what I needed; and for a reasonable price....the whole motivation for going aftermarket in the first place. Your post, Messmaker, got me thinkin'. I'd not considered a toothbar initially, thinking it wouldn't offer the same lip reinforcement on the bucket edge as a continuous blade, not to mention making finer backdragging more difficult. Now I'm reconsidering.

Check out the Piranha bar. Here's the results of a search: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/search.php?searchid=2682633

Some tooth buckets are flat on the bottom so you can backdrag and have a flat finish. I have a Blue Diamond bucket on the skid steer like that.

I'm not sure what you mean by "high carbide". You mean one with a carbide edge? Carbide is very hard, but also fractures easy. I doubt it would make a good bucket edge.
