Cx2510 trailer

I wanted a flatbed to haul my CX2510 and to do many other things.
I found an old RV removed the top part. Replaced the bed with wood slats. Added a 4" metal trim around the wood platform. a front metal stop 2 1/2' high and added a tool box along with a new easy attach 2 5/16 trailer hitch. upgraded the 2 axles with the easy grease sleeves. Ordered metal ramp and fenders. all for less then 2000. It ended up being 17' long and serves many, many purposes. IT is higher then normal but i can transport my jeep on it too.

I have a CX2510, and I really don’t plan to ever take it to the dealer. There is just too much free information online, and the group intelligence here outshines the typical dealer tech, especially after he’s had a couple bong rips.

I have a 3-horse trailer I could use in a pinch to get it to the dealer if I removed the loader and box scraper.

In fact, a single 3500# axle 5X10 utility trailer will move the CX2510 if you detach the loader and any 3-point implements. A simple utility trailer is cheap and very useful.

FWIW, I’ve found the CX2510 to be very spunky. I normally only run it at 1500-1600 rpm for non-PTO work. The loader cycle times are very quick and necessitate a steady hand. My tires are unfilled, but I do keep either my box blade or chipper on the rear.

Hello everyone, I am new here and considering buying kioti cx2510 or ck2620, leaning toward the cx.
What is the shortest trailer I can use for the cx2510 with loader? Used mostly for trips to the dealer.
Thanks.
I've hauled my Yanmar 424 on a 12' trailer a few times, but I have to remove the bucket and load it backwards in front with the loader arms sitting in the bucket. A CX2510 is about the same length, so I would say 14' minimum if you want to haul it with the bucket attached. I much prefer hauling it on my 20' car trailer.

I'd love to buy a trailer for my DK as my Big Tex 60PI-12 won't carry it.

That said, the only place I would probably take it is the dealer for repair.

My dealer charges $200 for round trip to my location. $200 vs the cost of a new trailer means the trailer is a low priority for me.

My CX fits in my 14' dump trailer with my counterweight on it with not even 1/2" to spare. With nothing on the 3 point it will have plenty of room.

I was just researching this. Basically, most single axle trailers are 3000 lb, while 2 axle trailers are 6000 and up. Since the trailer weighs a good deal, you’d need at least a two axle trailer with brakes.

However, like others, I’m struggling to identify when I’d use it. My son have a 12000 lb trailer I could use in a pinch.

I rented one from Sun belt rentals to take mine to the dealer.
