The left (FEL) cylinder is leaking on my new BX24, leaks enough in a week to leave a stain on the garage floor (bucket down, pressure off) is this pretty normal?...or should I return for warranty service?

It should not leak and yes the dealer should make it right.

Is it leaking at a fitting? One of my backhoe fittings was loose on my new BX24. One of the fittings was about hand tight. A quick snug with a wrench did the trick.

Hope yours it that easy.

I looked a little closer this morning, it may indeed be coming from the fitting, so hopefully a turn of the wrench will fix it.

If tightening does not do it you may have a cracked fitting. That is easy to replace.

just a little bit of hydraulic fluid makes a big mess. A couple of fittings on my B7800 loosened up in the first 10 hours.
Snugged them up with a wrench and the leak was fixed.

I had the same problem. A small puddle of hydro fluid after every use. Mine had a cracked fitting when tractor was delivered. Dealer replaced it. No more leaks.
