Howdy all, I have a problem with my 3 pt hitch on a D2050. Here's what happened:

I was going to mulch some leaves with my grooming mower so I lowered the 3 pt hitch to put it on and it stayed down; it would not raise at all.

So, I took the cover (where the lift arms attach) off and drained the fluid. The hydraulic filter was dirty so I cleaned it, cleaned the sump, removed the hydraulic valve and cleaned it as well.

I put everything back together and everything worked great for about 20 minutes. It would raise/lower just fine. Then I lowered it and it stayed down - the difference this time is as I rev the engine it slowly raises. - ugh! I though maybe there was air in the line so I cracked the feed several times but no difference.

I'm at my whits end. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!!

By the way - ya'll are awesome.

The relief valve isn't stuck open by chance?
Don't know where it is, but perhaps a gauge in the circuit would tell you pressure or not in system?
