D600 help

Hello everyone I'm new to the membership but not new to reading threads here. I'm seriously toying with the idea of taking a kubota d600 that I have sitting in the shop and mating it to a 12k st gen head. I know the d600 will never maximize what that 12k is capable of. But with the 12k head I know I can suck every usable ounce of hp out of the d600.


So my question is, does anyone have or know where I can view a manual for that d600? And what if any power increase will I gain since the gen head runs at 1800rpms and the d600 is made to run at 3600rpms, so I would be running a ratio of 2:1, (2 being the engine). So at 3600 the head would be spinning at 1800.

That is a 599 cc 3 cylinder engine with a gross HP output of 14 at 3200 rpm. 14 HP is 10.4 kw....
here is one coupled to a 5 kw generator, direct drive running at 1800 rpm... This guy 'could' have increased the output by running the engine rpm toward the 3200 rated rpm while keeping the generator at 1800 rpm... Instead he is thinking about turbo charging the engine and trying to run the engine at a Lower than rated rpm... won't work like he thinks.

If you run at the rated rpm you will get the rated hp output.
