daedong engines any good?

I'm lookin at a mccormick x10.50h and I know they have a daedong engine but I've never heard of them. Are the reliable...and how do they compare to the mahindra, case and nh

I sure hope so

I am taking delivery of my daedong made Kioti next week.

Daedong is the Korean company that makes Kioti, Bobcat,McCormick, and Landini Tractors.

Most Mahindra is made in India, some in Japan, with it think some affialiation with Mitsubishi and maybe TYM I am not sure. Case-NH is I believe owned by Fiat now, and LS (another Korean company) makes several of their smaller tractors. Formerly made by Shibaura from Japan. I under stand that Shibaura is now going to makes some of the cabbed models again.

From what I understand the McCormick line and the Kioti line are pretty identical except for paint color. Might be some minor things.

Daedong has been building tractors since 1968. Never had any problems with mine up here in Canada. I wouldn't worry about it, lots of Daedong engines running around.
