That's just not right.Any guesses on how many man-hours you'll have in you'll "install block heater" job. That way when some new poster here asks....
That's just not right.![]()
It might not be right, but it sure is funny!
Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 hrs. Not counting the 4 trips to the machine shop, parts runs, hours of research.
Had a good night. I just shut the lights off at 11:00.
Valves adjusted.
Hydraulic pump installed.
Fuel filter and lines installed
Wiring harness re-installed including starter, alternator.
Fan installed.
Brake linkages re-installed.
Coolant filled (no leaks).
Battery charged.
2 gallons of Fuel in tank.
Instrument panel re-installed. Turned the key to "run", all pre-start lights work.
Tomorrow, I just need to install the hydraulic suction hose, top off the Super UDT, install oil & filter and we can start her up.
I'll be sure to video it.
ROFLMAO!!Any guesses on how many man-hours you'll have in you'll "install block heater" job. That way when some new poster here asks....
ROFLMAO!!
And what would the cost of the heater be if you added up all the parts, shipping, tax and ALL the labor at $125/ hour?
I've been following along even though I haven't posted. Hope all works well.
